Kristina W. Bison

Kristina received her Bachelor of Arts in Art History at Florida State University in 2013. After completing her undergraduate degree, Kristina moved to Moscow, Russia to teach English as a second language.
Kristina began her legal career at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law where she graduated with her J.D. in 2018. Kristina was an active member of the National Lawyer’s Guild and obtained a certificate in Social Justice.
After graduating, Kristina worked as a tenants’ rights and eviction defense attorney at Southeast Louisiana Legal Services, where she helped establish an Evictions Help Desk, a model for city courts across Louisiana. Kristina began her insurance defense practice in 2023 and joined Burglass Tankersly in 2025.
Kristina’s legal practice is litigation based on the areas of casualty, insurance defense, bad faith litigation, general liability, and product liability. She has experience at every phase of litigation through trial and alternative dispute resolution.
When Kristina isn’t in court, she unwinds by playing with her dog Boris, exploring the food scene of New Orleans, and attending concerts.
